Kloey

Bio:

The band was formed in 1998 under the name Tetsuo, but there was already a Chicago band named Tetsuo, so they rename themselves Kloey. Vertigo, a five song EP was released in 1998 and their first full length album was released in 2000. Hi, my name is Kloey earned them some good press. Even if their debut album see limited release, several singles became college hits thanks to internet. Their sweet harmonies and cute melodies made them one of the most attractive new band in the twee pop galaxy.
They contributed to a cover of the Supremes "I hear a symphony" for a cover album of Motown artists. And with the arrival of Ezra Moor, they went back to their basement studio to work on "The Kloey afterschool special". This album, which see a better distribution thanks again to internet, could be the one that will earn them public recognition. If you like soft pop music, please try Kloey, you won't be disappointed.
