Snow Machine

Bio:

In college, Katharine McElroy bounced around from band to band and met Hunter Manasco who joined her band of the moment Three Finger Cowboy. So, at some point Three Finger Cowboy wasn’t really working out anymore.

Hunter and Hunter reconfigured as Nineteen Forty-Five. And after swearing off songwriting for several years, Katharine  finally sat behind the piano and thought up some new sad tunes.

They sometimes record local bands in their basement studio. Recently, Amy Ray came over to record some songs for her new record. Hunter played her a couple of Katharine new songs, and she told her that she wanted to release her recordings. So that's how Snow Machine was born.
